The National Executive of Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) wishes to inform Sports Journalists, Media Practitioners and the General Public that Membership application Forms will be available on Monday 28 September 2026 till Friday the 23rd October 2026 (which is the closing date for application).
Please note that the processing fee for the Membership Application is a non-refundable amount of NLe 200.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Old Leones).
To successfully apply, Sports Journalists, Media Practitioners and the General Public are advice to follow the following steps:
Payment: Processing feeof NLe 200.00 MUST be paid into the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone Bank account.

Nota Bene: The deposit must be made in your own legal name-matching the exact name you will write on your final Application.
- Bring your physical Bank Pay-in/Deposit Slip as evidence of payment.
- Collect your official Application Form from any SWASAL Regional Secretariat, or if you are in Freetown, from the SLAJ Secretariat.
